Athletic Trainer
Susan Hubbard
ATC (Suzy) begins her second year as the Athletic Trainer for
Centennial
High School. Suzy came to
Arizona
4
½ years ago all the way from
Michigan where she grew
up. She graduated cum laude from
Central
Michigan
University
in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Sports
Medicine/Athletic Training with a minor in Athletic Coaching. Suzy is
nationally certified by the NATA-BOC and state licensed in
Arizona
as an Athletic Trainer, Certified (ATC).
Throughout her career, Suzy has worked mostly at
the high school level having some experience with Division I collegiate
football and women’s soccer. She especially enjoys the atmosphere of the
high school where all the athletes still have a drive and desire to
play. Originally a competitive athlete herself, she was sidelined with
injury in high school where she met her Athletic Trainer. From that
moment on she knew that Athletics was the place to spend her life and
helping kids with a love of the game was the career for which she was
looking.
